Yesterday, went with friends to test fire rifle made in Pakistan...a new model of sports rifles built by Pakistan Ordinance Factories POF Wah, a semi auto rifle, built on G3 platform, taking .308 Winchester rounds. MashAllah, what a beautiful rifle POF has made. It was such a pleasure firing it...
We used a telescope and were firing at about 175 Yards on a 9 inch metal plate, making 4-5 inches groups...in just casual fire.
Interesting part is that anyone with a legal license for rifle can buy this. It is non-prohibited rifle for civilian use. Price is about Rs: 2,10,000/... and ammo is also made by POF for Rs: 75 each.
POF sells it directly at Wah factory or through their dealers in major cities.
After I fired it, now I am in love with the rifle...:)) Alhamdolillah, Pakistan make such fine weapons...very few Muslim countries make their own rifles..can you imagine..? sad..shukar, that we do.
