Statistics which'll make you cry for the Syrians

We all know the ordeals which the Syrians are facing day in and day out. By having looked at the videos and learning through the statistics, it can be said that the Syrians are undergoing a very difficult time. Its a pain on already existing pain that their troubles are being treated ordinary and the world seems to be immune to what is going on as we all have been so for the people of Afghanistan, Libya, Iraq, Bosnia. Many African nations where millions of men, women and children have no means to feed themselves and their families have also been a part of this sad story.

Giving is living, it is said. But what good are we giving to the people of this world and to the people of the community? I am sure we can do some good to this world but the current situations wherein speakers at Friday speech cry and complain about others, the youth isn't motivated to do anything good etc., show us a completely different picture and we stay where we lied, unmoved for centuries.

This email comes with an attachment. You'll not see any excel file or document attached but its the pain which is attached to it. It tells you about the misfortune, suppression, helplessness and brutality which the Syrians faced in the recent past.

It started off with mass protests by Syrians in March 2011 as a part of Arab Spring until June 2011 when the Syrian Government used army against the peaceful protests, which lead to the start of Syrian civil war.


Effects:

As per United Nations High Commissioner of Refugees, almost 40 lakh Syrians have and are waiting to register themselves as Refugees. As per UN, more than half of these refugees are under the age of 18 years.

As per Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, more than 3.4 lakh Syrians have been killed in the war so far.

The refugees in the Gulf region:

·         19.38 lakh in Turkey (Turkey has spent)

o   Turkey spent more than 7.6 billion US dollars for Syrian Refugees

o   It is a country which holds largest refugees population in the world

o   It adopted open door policy for Syrian civilians escaping the war from Syria for 5 years now (by 2015)
